The flotation swimsuit is designed with UL recognized foam placed inside the suit, so children are comfortable in and out of the water. The foam inside the floatie won't absorb water, won't deflate, won't slip off in the water and cannot be removed. Each suit has sufficient flotation for the weights indicated on the suit. Do not purchase too large! The Floating Swimsuit is NOT a life preserver. . . it must be used with adult supervision. My Pool Pal is a great floaty bathing suit!!
